While our clients and their searches have different business objectives tied to them, our methodology in executing a search remains the same. Each assignment no matter what the fee structure will follow the same meticulous format.
Our clients can expect:
- A detailed intake meeting where the search consultant meets the necessary members of the management team in order to gain a thorough understanding of the client's company, industry and the competitive position within their industry, the company culture, the business reason for the hire, the role of the position, and the first year expectations of the successful placement.
- The development of a position description and list of target companies which clarifies what we heard with the client and gives Flynn Global Search a document with which to go to market. The target list of companies focuses the research, candidate identification and candidate development along with the client so that both the client and the consulting team are in sync from the beginning.
- Weekly meetings designed keep the client involved and informed throughout the search process. This reduces search errors and sharpens the search as it progresses.
- Candidate presentations developed from a competency based approach. All candidates will be interviewed against a set of competencies that were developed with the client and used to evaluate the candidate pool.
- Candidate interviews will take place after the client and search consultant discuss the top candidates recruited during the process. A detailed write-up based on the competencies will accompany the candidates' resumes prior to discussion.
- Support in the negotiation stage of the recruitment process to the extent required by the individual search, on behalf of the client and candidate in order to bring the engagement to a successful conclusion.
- Detailed reference checks on the successful candidate focusing on the areas most important to the client and based off of the developed competency requirements.
- On-going support as required to ensure a smooth transition for both the client and placement.
